The Telling at Forest Lake

I actually wrote the beginning of this story in eighth grade (1963) then came back to it fifty-two years later. Forest Lake was my family's summer haven since I was five years old, lasting for 13 years and then some. The driving force for this write was the real abuse women face that unfortunately has been masked by the #METOO movement consisting of high society millionaires taking out men of power and money, making my job more difficult of bringing the girl next door to the forefront.
It's a beautiful story showing the strength of home town girls when they join together to get justice for Jill's murder.
